
Mosa Zahed is the Founding Director of the Middle East Forum for Development, which he established in 2013, and a Middle East expert and foreign policy and security adviser to parliamentarians in European Union member states. He advises policymakers on Iran, Iraq, and broader regional developments. He has addressed parliamentary committees in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands and previously worked in Brussels with Members of the European Parliament, engaging the European External Action Service on humanitarian and human rights issues. He has also commented in international media on developments in the Middle East. He holds degrees from The Hague University of Applied Sciences and Leiden University.

Mehrdad Noushazar is a technology and risk professional with extensive experience in information security, digital risk management, and technology governance. He currently holds a senior information risk and security role within the financial sector, where he focuses on strengthening organizational resilience against digital threats, misinformation, and the misuse of technology. In this capacity, he operates in an independent oversight function, challenging complex organizations to maintain robust standards for security, compliance, and responsible technology practices. Over the course of his career, Mehrdad has held international leadership roles in technology and security management across organizations in the technology and financial sectors. His work has focused on strengthening digital infrastructure, advancing information security standards, and guiding organizations through complex technological and organizational change. In addition to his professional work, Mehrdad has long been engaged in human rights and civil society initiatives, contributing to volunteer and humanitarian efforts supporting vulnerable communities. He brings to the board a combination of international perspective, technological expertise, and a strong commitment to responsible governance and societal impact.
